The Breath of The Almighty

Is your God not the God who can breathe life into dust, and it becomes a living soul?

The One from whom flow roaring, thundering rivers that speak of eternal life, Ready to be received by all who would hear.

Is He not the One who breathed life into all creation, so that every known and unknown inch came to be?

The God whose breath can rebuild withered bones and cause flesh to be reattached;

Whose breath can spark life into a man long dead and gone.

Is He not the God who died for you, leaving the realm of eternity

And entering the bounds of time, Moved by a love that longs for you To be His own? And once you receive Him,

That same breath cries out within you, testifying to the life now dwelling in you,

Breathing as though it were a baby’s first breath.

He is the God whose Ruach causes the barren to be fruitful

And the wasteland to become bountiful;

The weak to be strong, and the feeble to gain strength.

Whose Spirit causes men to rise and speak, Proclaiming the same message:

To the dry bones, “You too can live again.”
