COMMUNITY
GROUPS

MORE THAN A SERVICE

A PLACE FOR

EVERY SEASON

Community Groups exist alongside Life Groups to give every person in the house a space that speaks directly to where they are in life. Men, women, youth, and kids each carry their own questions, battles, and calling. These groups meet those seasons head-on.

IRON SHARPENS IRON

MEN'S
GROUP

A space for men to be honest about what they carry, sharpen one another in the Word, and grow into the kind of leadership their homes and city need.

גֶּבֶר
Gever — Hebrew

Gever refers to a strong man, one defined by valour and responsibility rather than mere strength. Psalm 1:1 begins, blessed is the gever who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked. Biblical manhood is measured by character under pressure, not image.

STRENGTH AND DIGNITY

WOMEN'S
GROUP

A space for women to be known, to study the Word together, and to walk through life's seasons, from singleness to motherhood to ministry, with women who carry one another's burdens.

חַיִל
Chayil — Hebrew

Chayil is the word used in Proverbs 31:10 to describe a wife of noble character, literally a woman of strength, capability, and valour. It is the same word used for mighty warriors elsewhere in scripture. Biblical womanhood carries strength, not fragility.

YOUTHS & YOUNG ADULTS

THE

FLOW

A space built for young adults to wrestle honestly with faith, identity, and the pressure to discover that their generation is not too young to carry real spiritual weight.

ΝΕΌΤΗΣ
Neotēs — Greek

Neotēs means youth, and Paul writes to Timothy in 1 Timothy 4:12, let no one despise your neotēs but be an example. The early church entrusted real leadership to the young. Youth Group exists to raise young people who lead now, not someday.

TRAIN THEM UPTRAIN THEM UP

KIDS
GROUP

A safe, energetic space where children learn the foundations of scripture in age appropriate ways, through story, song, and play, while parents are free to worship.

חָנַךְ
Chanak — Hebrew

Chanak means to train up or dedicate, and is the root word in Proverbs 22:6, train up a child in the way they should go. It carries the sense of a narrow path being formed early, like teaching a young animal its way. What is shaped young shapes everything after.
