Apostle Oscar and Pastor Triumph Guobadia are the founders and senior leaders of The Brook Place in London. Their ministry is marked by apostolic authority, prophetic clarity, and a relentless passion to see the people of God walk in the fullness of their identity and calling. They have built this house on the Word, sustained it by the Spirit, and given their lives to see a generation equipped for the Kingdom.

ABOUT SERVING
Apostolos literally means "one who is sent out." In the ancient world it referred to an envoy or ambassador dispatched with the full authority of the one who sent them. In the New Testament, the apostle does not merely carry a message; they carry a mandate. They are sent to establish foundations, to break ground in new territory, and to build structures that outlast their presence. The apostolic grace on this house is not a title. It is a mission.
Poimēn is the Greek word for shepherd, translated "pastor" in Ephesians 4. A shepherd in the ancient world was not a passive caretaker. They led from the front, fought off predators, searched for the lost, and bound up the wounded. They knew each sheep by name. Pastoral leadership at The Brook Place carries this weight, not management of a congregation, but true shepherding of souls.
Kavod means weight or heaviness, and is used to describe both human honour and the glory of God. To honour your leaders is not flattery, it is a spiritual act with covenant consequences. In 1 Timothy 5:17 Paul writes that elders who lead well are worthy of double honour. The kavod you place on those God has set over you is an act of faith in the God who appointed them.
Paul distinguishes in 1 Corinthians 4:15 between those who instruct and those who father. You may have many teachers, he says, but not many fathers. Patēr is the word for father, it describes the one who not only imparts knowledge but imparts nature. The fathering spirit in this house is what makes The Brook Place a family and not merely a ministry. True apostolic fathering releases sons and daughters into their own authority.
