Mathetēs is the foundational discipleship programme of The Brook Place, designed to establish new and existing members in the core doctrines and tenets of the Christian faith while fostering authentic biblical community.
Whether you have recently joined The Brook Place or have been part of the family for years, Mathetēs is where we lay strong foundations, cultivate meaningful relationships, and journey together as disciples of Jesus Christ.
This Greek word means disciple, learner, or pupil. Jesus didn’t simply call people to believe in Him—He called them to follow Him. Throughout Scripture, disciples learned together, grew together, and were transformed together. That same heart defines Mathetēs. This is more than a programme to complete. It is an invitation to become firmly established in God’s Word, connected to the life of The Brook Place, and formed within a community that is committed to pursuing Christ together.

Six Weeks of Foundational Discipleship
THE JOURNEY
Throughout this six-week journey, you will engage in biblical teaching, meaningful conversations, and practical application that strengthen both your understanding of Scripture and your connection to the life of The Brook Place.
Each week includes:
Self-paced teaching modules through TBP Innovate.
Facilitator-led small group discussions.
Weekly discipleship gatherings.
Reflection and practical application throughout the week.
This rhythm creates space not only to learn biblical truth but to live it out alongside others.

Learn about the person, work, ministry, and leading of the Holy Spirit in the life of every believer.

Develop confidence in the authority, inspiration, and application of God’s Word.
Ecclesiology
Understand God’s design for His Church and your role within the Body of Christ.
Holy Living
Learn how biblical truth shapes everyday life through obedience, spiritual disciplines, and Christlike character.
